Double Reeds

MOB-211S

Intermediate ABS Oboe

The Morrél intermediate model oboe MOB 211S has a “modified conservatory” key system. The body is made from ABS resin with a wood-like matt finish, a highly economical alternative to a wooden body providing extra durability and crack resistance.

Still it offers players and their audience a beautiful rich and rewarding sound. The modified conservatory key system includes the left hand F, an F resonance key, an articulated B-C# mechanism, and the low Bb key.

The Morrél MOB 211S has all the keys necessary for the student to play indefinitely or until they decide to upgrade to a professional model oboe (Link to MOB411).

Morrél oboes have silver plated keywork to avoid exposing players to harmful nickel silver plating that is often found on oboes of a similar price range. The Morrél MOB 211S can fulfill the needs of an amateur player or someone who intends to be a music education major. The Morrél MOB 211S comes in a wooden hard shell case with faux fur lined sleeve.

1 year warranty.
